Dhaniya Panjiri is an Indian sweet dish made especially for Krishna Janamashtami as prashad.
Panjiri is one of the quintessential delights of Krishna Janmashtmi bhog. It is offered to Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu on the occasion of his birth anniversary. According to Hindu legends, Lord Krishna was born in Shravana month on midnight of the eighth day of Krishna Paksha.
Ingredients Used:-
½ cup Coriander Seeds
½ cup Desiccated Coconut
1 tbsp Ghee
1 cup Makhana (chopped)
1 tbsp Ghee
¼ cup Almonds (chopped)
¼ cup Cashew Nuts (chopped)
¼ cup Chironji (chopped)
¼ cup Pistachio (chopped)
2 tbsp Ghee Coriander Seeds Powder
Powdered Sugar
¼ tsp Cardamom Powder
